Title: Prime Minister's Questions

Pokemaniac John - July 17, 2009 12:33 PM (GMT)
This is the parliamentary question time for questions to the Prime Minister.

Members of the Commons may question the Prime Minister on any issue relating to his department. Each member is limited to one question per week.

This House recognises DynamoJax as the Prime Minister, and requests that he answers all questions posed to him.

This House recognises Inevitable as the Leader of the Opposition, and as such grants him the right to ask six questions per week.

The government may only be asked to answer one question at a time - no new questions may be submitted until the previous one has been answered. If the government does not answer, action may be taken by the speaker of the commons.

I therefore open this session with the following question:

Will the Prime Minister please tell us of his department's aims for this session of parliament?

DynamoJax - July 17, 2009 04:18 PM (GMT)
My initial aim is to increase spending in other departments since the Transport Review revealed we have quite a few units going to waste. Since that review, we have increased funding in Education, Health, and Environment.

In addition, the Government is considering a review on policies and legislation to find out if new legislation is needed, and if so, where. At this current juncture, this would be the first aim of all departments.

In reference to legislation, we are about to move the Ostentian Rebate Act of 2009, which will act as a de facto psuedo-tax cut that can be renewed every term of parliament, which will help to aid in the strengthening of our economy.

According to intelligence from other countries, there is a "menace" to the north of the UCCR, that caused the UCCR, who are an extremely powerful nation themselves, to ally with christophia, what are the prime ministers thoughts/opinions on this so called menace?

While I have yet to be fully apprised of the situation, I hope that any such menace will not conduct themselves in a militant way. Should they turn militant, we must work with our neighbors and fellow friends to use proactive, non-violent methods to render the menace ineffective as a militant force.

If on the other hand, such menace wishes to engage in peaceful politics, that is more preferable than being militant.

For now, Ostentia appears to be relatively secure. However, such security in today's world is all but continuous and is rather fleeting. So, we must all work together in the Commons to extend such security as long as possible.

The PCP hopes to shortly publish a bill creating a constitutional right to private property. Will the government be supporting this move?

DynamoJax - July 18, 2009 03:25 PM (GMT)
Support for the bill will ultimately hinge on exactly how far the bill goes. The further the bill goes on privatisation, the more reluctant support will be.
