Title: Prime Minister's Questions

Pokemaniac John - April 2, 2009 08:49 PM (GMT)
This is the parliamentary question time for questions to the Prime Minister.

Members of the Commons may question the Prime Minister on any issue relating to his department. Each member is limited to one question per week.

This House recognises Cieran as the Prime Minister, and requests that he answers all questions posed to him/her.

This House recognises Inevitable as the Leader of the Opposition, and as such grants him the right to ask six questions per week.

The government may only be asked to answer one question at a time - no new questions may be submitted until the previous one has been answered. If the government does not answer, action may be taken by the speaker of the commons.

I therefore open this session with the following question:

Will the Prime Minister please tell us of his government's aims for this session of parliament?

Cieran - April 2, 2009 08:59 PM (GMT)
Naturally, the government is in a tricky position as a minority, even though we're in coalition. We hope to make some headway in tackling this economic crisis, and will also hopefully be pursuing foreign trade with more vigour. Most people say the DLSP is all about the PR, and, with our partnership with the Federalist Party and their aims for a more representative parliament, we hope this to remain the case. As a minority government in times of economic crisis, however, please don't have too many unrealistic expectations of us...

I thank the Prime Minister for his answer and open this session to the house.

I'd like to ask on behalf of the Afro Funk party;

Would the Prime Minister hit me with his rhythm stick? (Hit me, Hit me)

Cieran - April 2, 2009 10:09 PM (GMT)
Would you prefer me to hit you slowly or hit you quick?...

Do you recognize Inevitable as a Liberal Democrat? (Remember that certain answers will trigger an investigation. Your supervisor cannot provide any information about this investigation, but they can provide more about them not knowing about it.)

Gah, sorry, didn't see this question. It's not been three days though ;).

Yes, we recognise Inevitable as a Liberal Democrat. Why on earth would there be an investigation though? He took the position, exploiting a loophole in the political system. It's all perfectly legal. Plus, I have a supervisor? I'm the highest position in the land, and I have a supervisor? News to me :P...
