Inevitable - April 1, 2009 05:29 PM (GMT)
Right, if you want to be in opposition, state your case here.

HRH King Zog II - April 1, 2009 05:39 PM (GMT)
My case is true to Literal Democrat values and has been cut into very small pieces of leather and distributed to all the people we could find. As have its contents and the handle.

CJMiller - April 1, 2009 05:47 PM (GMT)
I deserve to be in opposition since my Liberal Democrat Party has more seats (96) than the DLSP/Federalist coalition.

plqx - April 1, 2009 07:24 PM (GMT)
The Liberal Democrat Party is the opposition. And if you don't want to run it, Inevitable, then that means that CJMiller does by default.

Sir William Buttersworth - April 2, 2009 08:08 AM (GMT)
I look forward to battling with CC0 over money related issues.

Actually, I think you'll be facing Verdi. Inevitable's the shadow chancellor, so he'll be the one battling me at question time.

Sir William Buttersworth - April 2, 2009 11:18 AM (GMT)
Right you are.

I will still challenge for the sake of being irritating.

CJMiller - April 3, 2009 12:13 AM (GMT)
I apologize if I missed anything. I was at the dentist today and the Animal Kingdom Lodge today.

Am I right in assuming that I am Leader of the Opposition (I call it Shadow Prime Minister -- that's easier to remember)?

Did you come second in the election?

Did you receive an invite to form the Opposition from Pokemaniac John?

If you answered NO to the above then you're NOT the Leader of the Opposition.

If you're called Inevitable and you answered YES to the above then you ARE the Leader of the Opposition.

CJMiller - April 3, 2009 02:49 AM (GMT)
Did you start the Liberal Democrat Party?

If you answered YES, then you are the Leader of the Opposition.

If you answered NO, you are admitting to election fraud.

Commoncold0 - April 3, 2009 08:37 AM (GMT)
The leader of the opposition is appointed as an individual, not as a member of a party. Hence why we have had independent oppositions before.

Again I must point out there is precedent in Inevitable's actions:

As seen in this election where the same party was both government, opposition and third party

eriatarka1 - April 3, 2009 03:41 PM (GMT)
And in any case, I think you'll find the Liberal Democrat Party was started by an alliance of the SDP and Liberal Party (IRL jokes are allowed, aren't they?

CJMiller - April 3, 2009 06:48 PM (GMT)
Zog: That was four different Boo Parties. Three lied like cake. The other was communist scum.

eriatarka1: Not here.

sqeak - April 3, 2009 06:53 PM (GMT)
theyre a completely different party, they just happen to share a name.

And this is two different Lib Dem parties

CJMiller - April 3, 2009 07:28 PM (GMT)
No, there is only one Liberal Democrat Party: mine, and it holds 96 seats in the House of Commons.

Inevitable is a spy sent by the Booists to destroy Glorious Capitalism.

Commoncold0 - April 3, 2009 07:31 PM (GMT)
Of course, the irony is that if you hadn't kicked up such a fuss about HRH standing for a party with a similar name as yours, none of this would have happened.

Cieran - April 3, 2009 08:14 PM (GMT)
Streisand effect much?...

CJMiller - April 3, 2009 09:02 PM (GMT)
It would have still happened. Inevitable is a fascist liar and must be killed on sight, preferably by nuking.

jhgilliatt - April 3, 2009 09:05 PM (GMT)

Not again... <_<

jhgilliatt - April 5, 2009 06:18 PM (GMT)
 I don't want to take this away from him without his own consent, but should Verdi remain on the front bench, due to his low appearance? I know him, and he says he doesn't have much time for this. But, I don't want to just strip him of his position.

Edit: Sorry, didn't realise I was double posting...

Cieran - April 5, 2009 07:23 PM (GMT)
Verdi has been contacted, I've asked him if he wants to remain on the front-bench or simply leave...

If he does not get onto MP and answer, I can ask him in person.

Lewis - April 5, 2009 09:14 PM (GMT)
This is my shadow cabinet

It is with regret that I announce that Verdi has not been able to take his position as Business and Industry Secretary...

Not anymore. Verdi never wanted to be on the front bench. But I think that you are best suited to this position??? Ask Cieran, anyway... ^_^

I've already got two front bench posts, I'd rather not have a third. ;)

CJMiller - April 6, 2009 06:31 PM (GMT)
*is patiently waiting for a spot on either front bench*
