General Information

The F&V=P Party™ originated in Democratia quite some time ago, and the Ostentian branch is the oldest Ostentian party currently active. When we were founded by Pokemaniac John in Democratia, we were quite extreme - our policies included outlawing meat eating and drinking alcohol. Though these remain our aims, we accept that there is little chance of such an idea as banning the eating of meat getting through the commons. As such, we now have a less extreme approach, though working towards the same thing - saving lives.
ִ Our aiming to impose strict restrictions on things such as alcohol, and if we can meat, may prove unpopular among voters. That's why we try to put party politics aside, and work as best we can regardless of who's in government etc. We hope we'll be able to work with other parties to better the country, rather than working against them to gain power.

Our main focus is on animal rights - we believe that no animal, whether human or not, should be subject to unnecessary torment, either physical or mental. There may be some who say things like "that's ridiculous. Cows can't think for themselves, how can the experience mental torment?". We at The F&V=P Party™ refer to such people collectively as "imbeciles".

We also focus largely on the environment, believing that, to an extent, if you take care of the environment, it will take care of you. Our focus on the environment has made us the "green" party in elections, and is generally what we are known for in the political scene.

Obviously these are not the only things we propose legislation about etc., but these are our main overall concerns. To keep the public up to date with what we're focusing on each term, we'll be publishing something stating our aims shortly after each election.

It has already been states that the Boo Party is the oldest Party in Ostentia, having been formed as a governing party for Boondoxia prior to Unification.

Perhaps it's not the oldest Party specifically for Ostentia, but it's certainly the oldest party there is.

Well the Boo Party was founded in the 17th or 18th century. I can't remember which, I wrote us a party history. But this is about the FVP party, not the Boo Party...

I would like to take the bold and frankly confusing twofold step of:

1) Asking to join this party as spokesperson for Law & Order (i.e. Deputy Home Secretary) and

2) Stating my "imbecilic" nature and that my connection with this party does not extend to the acceptance of animal rights (although I do at least mildly disapprove of animal testing), and hoping that such a statement does not lead to rejection from membership of the party.

If there were more people who thought like me in the world - or more specificaly who were members of this simulation - you'd probably be rejected. As it is, though, welcome aboard! ^_^

I shall pledge my support for the F&V=P™ party

If there were more people who thought like me, the world would be a happier place.

Or else.
